In 1987 it was identified a need to expand existing physician-based medical services that include fast, convenient and excellent medical care that is both affordable and accessible. The result is Juneau Urgent Care.

Juneau Urgent Care opened in 1993. In operation for nearly 12-years we are an established medical facility in Southeast Alaska.

Our primary doctor, Dr. Norvin Perez, MD, Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Perez comes to Juneau with a background that includes academics, occupational medicine, travel and tropical medicine and wound healing. He has worked in community hospitals and also as a hospital administrator.  He provides pain management services for patients with chronic pain and migraine headaches. He also provides urgent care and family medicine.

Our facilities have a Medical Review Officer who can provide all random, Post Accident and Reasonable cause Drug and Alcohol Testing including random Poll enrollment and Selection. Businesses can avoid the cost third-party administrators for these services which provides a substantial savings.
