Dr. Perez completed his studies at Tulane University and Mount Sinai School of Medicine, and then went on to complete a Wound Healing Research Fellowship at the Brigham & Women's Hospital at Harvard University. Dr. Perez trained in Emergency Medicine at the Albert Einstein Program at Long Island Jewish Hospital, and attended the internationally renowned Gorgas Course in Tropical & Travel medicine in Lima, Peru during his residency. Dr. Perez was named an Associate Professor at Columbia University while on staff at Harlem Hospital. His next position, as an Emergency Room Director at the West Hudson Hospital in Kearney, NJ, brought him to the second largest hospital system in the U.S., called Saint Barnabas Medical Health System. Dr. Perez served on the hospital leadership team, in addition to system wide corporate meetings. During his directorship, he supervised the volunteer ambulance system and developed an occupational medicine department. Soon after he left his directorship, Dr. Perez moved to Juneau, Alaska to practice at Juneau Urgent and Family Care.
Dr. Perez developed a hybrid health care model in which both urgent care and primary care can successfully co-exist under one practice, to provide quality care for both types of patients. One of Dr. Perez's proudest achievements has been community outreach, which has been a passion of his since his college days, and has spanned his entire career, from giving lectures to leading community organizations.
Robert Warren Haight, MD

Dr. Haight was born and raised in Juneau, and has lived here for most of his life. He graduated from JDHS in 1986, the University of New Mexico in 1990 (Biology major, history minor), and the University of Washington School of Medicine in 1995. Upon completing his residency in Family Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1998, Dr. Haight spent 2 years working in Barrow, Alaska, where he was the medical director of the hospital. Dr. Haight returned to Juneau in 2000, and spent 8 years in solo practice before joining Juneau Urgent and Family Care, where he has been doing urgent and primary care for the last eight years. Dr. Haight served as the medical director of Capital City Fire and Rescue for 6 years. He and his wife, Victoria, have two daughters, Sammy and Ruchi.
In addition to primary and urgent care, Dr. Haight is also interested in disease prevention. His hobbies include local history, and exploring the Juneau area by foot and boat.
